Firepetals Jewellery Design

Firepetals is a Cape Town-based jewellery design studio and jewellery school. We specialise in unique, contemporary and handmade jewellery. Firepetals was founded in 2005.

The name ‘Firepetals’ reflects both the “hard” and the “soft” elements of jewellery-making. Fire represents the hard technical side, while petals represent the more delicate and creative side. The logo is a pin cushion flower, indigenous to South Africa.

Adeline Joubert Heyns studied Fine Arts and Jewellery Design & Manufacture and has been in the jewellery trade for the past 25 years. She is passionate about jewellery as art and aim to make people more aware of the delights of handmade jewellery through her work. She has also been teaching jewellery-making classes and workshops to students and jewellery enthusiasts since 2007.

The studio

Firepetals is based in Woodstock, Cape Town.

At the studio we make unique contemporary handmade jewellery and offer jewellery-making classes and workshops. The workshop can be visited by appointment.
